About

Welcome to Easy Ears!

Hi! I'm Kara. My rabbitry was established on Easter day of 2014 when I got my first pair of rabbits. I've recently stopped breeding and am now fostering rabbits from rescues instead. If you are interested in adopting one of these rescue rabbits please visit the "For Adoption" page on this website to see what is available!

Located in Tri-cities Washington, I have a very small rabbitry that stays around 4 holes.

My rabbits live in off the ground hutches, that are in the shade all year round, and protected from winter weather with clear plastic tarps that let in light, but keep out the cold.

During warmer months the tarps are removed for better circulation and the rabbits are often let out to play on the grass in tractor cages or under supervision in a pen. Occasionally, they get to run free in our spacious, fenced in yard, but are carefully watched the entire time.

My rabbits are supplied with an unlimited amount of fresh timothy hay and pellets daily, along with occasional store bought and home grown treats as well as fresh dandelions from my yard; which is pesticide and fertilizer free and has been for over a decade.

All my rabbits have spacious living quarters to themselves. Included in the hutches are the bunnies own hay box, water bottle or dish, feeders, toys and apple branches to chew on. The hutches and bunnies are checked on and kept clean every day. I give my rabbits bodily check-ups regularly, and trim their nails, and clean their scent glands when needed --usually once a month.
